Said to symbolize innocence, this springtime bloom is often spotted in bridal bouquets.
This delicate flower has a clean, powdery fragrance that is radiant, sweet and dry, with hints of citrus and deep red fruits. Said to symbolize innocence, this springtime bloom is often spotted in bridal bouquets. As the flower blossoms for only a short time in early spring, it evokes a rare and fleeting moment in time, making it all the more precious and memorable.
The heady romance of the rose has been loved by perfumers for centuries.
Said to have been created by the Greek goddess Aphrodite, and used to make love potions in ancient Egypt, the heady romance of the rose has been loved by perfumers for centuries. These velvety flowers are best picked in the early hours, still fresh with the dew of the morning. In this fragrance, we have used both Rose Absolute Communelle Orpur®, which is extracted from sustainably-sourced roses, and Rose Water Natsource® Extract to create a unique, multi-faceted scent profile. The result is a perfume that's endless in its possibilities.
Comforting yet tempting, vanilla's sensuality makes this perfume especially alluring.
This warming spice originates from Mexico, where legend has it that Xanat, the young daughter of the Mexican fertility goddess, transformed herself into a vanilla vine to provide pleasure and happiness. This climbing, orchid-like plant releases its enchanting scent from its pods once they have been extracted and dried. Comforting yet tempting, vanilla's sensuality makes this perfume especially alluring – the tempting sweetness is grounded by a very real depth and richness that lingers long after the other notes.
First of all – who is the woman who wears this scent?

What place evokes Possibilities for you, and why?
To me, Possibilities evokes Rome, one of the liveliest places I know. A panorama of colors, sounds, sensations and energy blend together with contrasts and surprises at every corner, making me feel that everything is truly possible. It's a city where the unexpected happens. Mysteriously. Joyfully.
What was your inspiration for this scent? Is there an olfactive memory that inspired you?
I am a huge flower lover and spend time enjoying my own garden. I wanted the scent to have that same atmosphere where many flowers thrive alongside each other. I was very excited by some new ingredients to our perfumer palette (and the possibilities they offered): unique faceted versions of rose, freesia and orange flower. I set out to create a sensual, blended floral heart.
I also wanted to encapsulate the essence of the La Perla woman's femininity: sensual, spellbinding, elegant and confident. I decided to blend some of the most feminine notes of perfumery, such as freesia, rose, and vanilla, with an unexpected, powerful and mysterious ingredient – the Akigalawood®. This unique fraction of patchouli brings a woody-spicy assertiveness to the fragrance, making it truly captivating, and putting a unique twist on its femininity.
What are your favorite ingredients in the scent and why are they special to you?
The Rosyfolia ingredient is a molecular creation that is just wonderful, even by itself. It is an elegant and airy rose petal note with a touch of fresh greenness and a tea-like warmth. Meanwhile, the freesia accord brings a sparkling, fizzy top note. Both dewy and slightly honey-like, it is the perfect introduction to the more potent sensuality that follows.
It’s hard to choose one other ingredient because the dry-down is complex. Using molecular blends means one note is not the star... there is vanilla, but it is warmed by spicy woody, amber and patchouli aspects, so it isn’t overly sweet. The result is a floral scent that is neither girly nor traditional – it’s quite tantalizing.
