As the world celebrates the extraordinary achievements of women on the 8th of March, we'd like to give you a little peek inside some of the missions we support.
We’re proud to have created a diverse workplace that values the background and experience of all our employees. Our goal has always been to build an equitable environment where women in beauty feel empowered and can flourish. We want each and every woman to feel their most confident, without exception – and we carry this through into a team made up of people of all ages and personalities. We love celebrating everything that makes all of us unique.
We believe in the power of equality, diversity and inclusion. La Perla Beauty recognises the value of each individual and their experience, not their gender, leaving us proud to say we treat all people with respect and fairness.
We want to be at the forefront of advancing gender equality in tech roles. Our digital team is made up entirely of women and we champion the innovation and determination of talented women. We believe this also ensures that our online space is created for the people who use it. We work closely with female influencers that we feel represent the powerful women who love to wear our brand.
Women are our inspiration and we aim to be one of your favorite female empowerment brands. So many beautiful, creative and dedicated people have shared their experience and talent through collaboration with us. We are inspired every day by the passion, joy and laughter that we share with the women around us, including our wonderful customers. When you apply your favourite La Perla Beauty scent, we'd like you to know that many of our fragrances have been created by female perfumers. Our beautiful packaging, which takes pride of place on your dressing table, is also developed by a female designer.
We know we're not perfect, but we're constantly striving to make La Perla Beauty a better place for everyone who works with us.
We take great care in selecting our vendors, partners and employers according to their values and capabilities. It's important for us that our collaborators share our commitment to equal rights and fair pay for everyone. From suppliers to distributors and retail partners – we're all in this together. We require all our suppliers to agree to our Code of Conduct. Those we work with must share our zero-tolerance approach to modern-day slavery, human trafficking, and forced and child labour. It also means that employees must not be unfairly discriminated against based on personal characteristics with regard to hiring, remuneration or promotion.
